VOYAGE D'HIVER | FABIENNE VERDIER

Custot Gallery Dubai is pleased to present Voyage d’hiver, a remarkable series of paintings by the celebrated contemporary abstract painter, Fabienne Verdier.
Fabienne Verdier imagined this series of 8 paintings in 2016 while thinking of ‘Die Winterreise’ (Voyage d’hiver) by classical Austrian composer Franz Schubert. This ensemble of 24 lieder written for piano and voice in 1827, one year before the death of Schubert, brings to the artist, in each listen, immense vibrations.
ARNAUD RIVIEREN NATURAL SUBLIME

Custot Gallery Dubai is pleased to announce the first solo show by Dubai-based Belgian sculptor Arnaud Rivieren at the gallery. Entitled Natural Sublime, the exhibition presents three new bodies of work that deepen the artist’s engagement with representing our natural world through painstakingly precise industrial techniques.

Custot Gallery Dubai is pleased to present Nick Brandt: The Day May Break, an exhibition of new works photographed in Zimbabwe and Kenya in late 2020. It is the first part of a global series portraying people and animals that have been impacted by environmental degradation and destruction.

NOCTURNE

Nocturne seems an appropriate title for a moderate and expressive exhibition by the artists Koo Jeong A and Tomás Saraceno at Custot Gallery Dubai, organized in collaboration with Pinksummer Gallery, Genoa, Italy. A nocturne is a musical composition in vogue during the Romanticism, not necessarily evocative of the night, but realized for the execution in the dreamlike and magical atmosphere of the night.
